Help with a purchase

I have been out listening to B+W Speakers and I am about to pull the trigger on some 800 series for our home theatre. Going to get 805's up front and eventually move them to rears and get some 803's for front duty. My question is about the centre. They only have the HTM4S in stock to listen to and as much as I love it, it does sound a little bit small. How much better does the HTM3S sound compared to the 4S? Its going to be under a large projection screen so just dont want the sound to be to focused in the middle of the screen if that makes any sense. So yeah just want to know how much better the 3S is than the 4S? Also going to grab the Rotel 1550. Is that a good choice?

HTM3S and 803S all have the FST mid range. You will notice the lack of it later on if you have the HTM4S with the 803S.

If you are going to get the 803S down the road, you may as well get the HTM3S now. If money is an issue, just skip the center for now and stick with two 805S for now. You will find the money in no time to buy the HTM3S, I promise.

Another option is to get four 805S, HTM4S and two subwoofers. 805S is a fantastic speaker. I am very pleased with it.

Rotel and B&W are always a good combination. But if you are considering the 800 series, you may as well consider going separates. Have the dealer pair the 1570 processor with an external amplifier and see if you can hear a difference.
