Great choice for surrounds. What are you running at the front? I have just traded my 802Ds for a pair of brand new 803Ds for the front because of space issues. My plan now is to run 4×803D, HTM2D and 2×ASW855. -

I did this too and to me, nothing beats the sweet surround sound of the "diamond" tweeters. I found that when it comes to full surround pieces such as Jean Michel Jarre's "Live in China" (2004), the 803D's on surround duty provide a near-perfect match.
In fact, Mark-n-b's plan to run 4 x 803D's is perfect too.
I listen to a lot of 2-channel redbook CD and so I prefer my 802D's for that.

I just set up a second system with 803Ds, HTM2D, a couple of leftover 602S3 for surrounds, driven by Arcam Av9 feeding Mcintosh 402 and 303. Pretty nice sound.
