    803D's

Just bought a pair of 803D's to use as back surrounds, to replace the 805's.
Hope it's going to make a hell of a difference in the surround setup

Great choice for surrounds. What are you running at the front? I have just traded my 802Ds for a pair of brand new 803Ds for the front because of space issues. My plan now is to run 4×803D, HTM2D and 2×ASW855.

      Congratulations, jericho!

I did this too and to me, nothing beats the sweet surround sound of the "diamond" tweeters. I found that when it comes to full surround pieces such as Jean Michel Jarre's "Live in China" (2004), the 803D's on surround duty provide a near-perfect match.

In fact, Mark-n-b's plan to run 4 x 803D's is perfect too.

I listen to a lot of 2-channel redbook CD and so I prefer my 802D's for that.

      Enjoy :T

Let's say they are doing duty as "back surround", my normal surround speakers are 802D's, the fronds 800D's with HTM-1D as center

            802D Surround System Help
            by JKalman
I recently traded in a complete 7 series surround system (and quite a bit of extra cash) for a pair of 802Ds (needless to say, I couldn't be happier...). I am now saving up for a full surround setup and could use some advice on a few different choices.

I am considering the HTM2D for...

            B&W 803D Versus 802D Review
            by beden1
Well, I spent over 3 hours at the Classe/B&W dealer today to demo the SSP-800 for the first time, as well as to compare the 803Ds to the 802Ds once again.

For this post, I eliminated the section of my Classe SSP-800 review that I posted in the Classe Forum section.

            Pretty Impressed with 803Ds
            by jack d
            FWIW.

I just set up a second system with 803Ds, HTM2D, a couple of leftover 602S3 for surrounds, driven by Arcam Av9 feeding Mcintosh 402 and 303. Pretty nice sound.

My main system has 802Ds, HTM1D, 804s, with Meridian processor and all MC501s. I'm surprised so far how...

Full 802D Surround or 800D for Front L/R and 802Ds in the Back
            by JKalman
I'm slowly building up my surround setup and I'm trying to decide whether to go with 802Ds on the rear channels (I currently have 2 already) for the purpose of matching the sound for surround, or moving the 802Ds I have to the real channels and purchasing 800Ds for the front L/R channels. I plan on...

Upgrading to 802Ds and Need Creative Component Advice
            by MorningDew
Hi all. I currently have a B&W CM setup, but the local dealer is offering me a pretty great opportunity to upgrade. He is willing to let me trade-in any or all of my gear at the same cost that I paid for it and put the money toward a new system. However, I only have until May (when I have to move...
