802D crossover

Ive recently obtained a couple of these that now sit proudly as my front pair with some 805 in the rear and a htm4 at centre (hopefully to be changed ). Anyhoo in my previous setup i was using a velodyne spl1200 sub for all low end film effects and was now wondering 2 things
a) whether i should put in in the new setup as the 802D do go quite low, but dont 'seem' to go as low as the sub
b) what crossover value should I use. It doesnt seem right to cross it over at 80hz leaving the rest to the sub when the 802D can accomplish so much more

Depends. Measure the in-room, in-position response of the 802Ds.
