Im looking into getting used 802N, anything spesific to look for? Is there a way to determant the age? Does it even matter?

Matching serial numbers, are the tweeters blown? Ive replaced 2 tweeters on mine. The Nautilus tweeter seem to "come apart" where its glued. Kinda cheezey IMO, but im glad its only $99 for a tweeter and not $999.
Other than that id say condition, and does it have original boxes? The boxes are not avail anymore.B&W

that deal felt through, didn't want to send detailled pictures. From one email account when asked says he's 1st. owner, from another says he's 2nd. Too bad, he was only 2hrs away, couldn't trust the guy.

I hear that ML 432+B&W 802N is a Great Combination!!! Not Sure.
My 6BSST+802N combination is Ok. But, The Brightness & Hollowness is really unbearable at times. I had to reduce the Treble on my Lexicon for that.

At last I have the money to buy real speakers! I´ve given away my bose 901´s and now I´m looking at B&W 804,803D and I have a chance for a secondhand pair of 802N!!
My worries for the 803D and 802N is my amp! Sony es ta-n9000es 5 X 130 or 2 X 200 in 8 ohms

I can purchase an 802N for the same price as the 803s. I have listened to the 803s, but not the 802N. I know the 802 is older model, but seem that there would be a substantial difference in soundstage........ Opinions? -
I have seen some positive feedback on these stands for the 802N. How much of a difference do they really make? Are they worth the $700 or would I be better advised to spend the money on power conditioning? -
Has anybody tried a S.E.T amp with the 802N? I would like to use one for the mid and tweeter and a ss for the bass. Will a S.E.T amp have enough grunt?
