I currently have 805S on Soundanchors and wondering if anyone has used other name brand spikes that improved their sound. I tried black diamond cones whch tightened up the sound but lost the wide/airy soundstage.

    Hello !

The best I've tried on my system, and the only one I use today everywhere (speakers, electronics, furniture,...) are the Ceraball.

I use soundcare super spikes, mainly to protect the hard wood floors. Much easier than trying to put spikes on disks. Driving the spikes into the hardwood was not going to work for me. No complaints about the sound quality.

I use the stock spikes and 5 Q-feet to absorb cabinet vibration under my B&W floorstanders. Speaker sits securely and evenly on both ontop of wall to wall carpeting. Better detail in highs and mids.

              Hey Gang-
Im waiting on a pair of Sound Anchors that should be here in a few days. I have hardwood floors & the stands have spikes. What are some good options for the spikes? I saw the conecoasters at soundanchors.com & was wondering what other items are readily available. Has anyone...

              Rubber VS Spikes for 802D
              by rompower
              Hey all!

I was wondering if anyone experienced rubber vs spikes on the 802D? Any thoughts?

I'm wondering if I switch to spikes but I fear I'll destroy the carpet if I want to play a little bit with positioning... Should I buy some granit plate to put under the speaker...

Suspended Equipment - Anyone ever tried it?
              by audioqueso
              Spikes, isolation cones, dampening materials...
All these tweaks we do to isolate out equipment as much as possible in order to prevent any sort of vibration, degrading factor, etc..

Well, lately I've been surfing around in some Japanese audio forums. What I've been finding lately...

What isolation devices are you using with your 1066 Pre/Pro?
              by Ron Reda
I'm planning on picking up some isolation devices for my 1066 and was kinda curious as to what everyone else is using.

I have been looking into various spikes/cones/half spheres with Black Diamond Racing's "Pyramid Cones" being of particular interest to me.

              Speaker stands and spikes
              by Dmm53
I have a new pair of 803S on medium pile carpet. I have slightly tilted the speakers back by lengthening the spikes in the front. Wondering how many out there are using Sound Anchors, cones or Outriggers and what the results have been?
