    B & W Surround Speaker Question

So I've got plans to build a dedicated home theatre. Currently I have CDM 9NTs for my front, the CNT for the center and a pair of 1NTs for my rears. I'm looking to do a full 7.1 setup. Is another set of 1NTs the best solution or is there a comparable speaker that would be more suitable? I plan to mount the speakers up on the back and side walls via shelves likely.

Why not keep an eye out for some CDM-SNT wall mounts. I see them on audiogon from time to time.

As linuxtx points out the CDM-SNT would be the speaker of choice. If you can't find any used and purchasing new is an option, look at the DS7. It would match the CDM's very well and give you the option of dipole or direct radiating with the flip of a switch or a 12V trigger.

Compensating for a 'Mismatched' B&W Center Speaker
            by Blindamood
In my B&W 5.1 setup I currently have a CDM CNT center speaker, with CDM 9NTs as the front left and right mains, and 1NTs as surrounds. This is not an ideal setup, as the 9NTs are not perfectly matched to the center (9NT has the FST midrange driver, etc.). It seems that many other B&W owners...

            4x705s/HTM7 + DS6 or 4x705s/HTM7 + DS7 ??
            by c912039
            Hi,

Im looking at putting together a package of 4x 705s plus a HTM7 for 5.1 HT use. I would actually like to go 6.1 (I dont have enough space for 2 speakers on my rear wall), and so my first logical choice was to go for the DS7.

:?: Until recently, I was running my Pioneer Elite VSX-45TX receiver (100W x 7) with B&W 602s, 601s, and CC6 speakers (and Velodyne sub) in a 5.1 arrangement. I have been very pleased with this setup for both multi-channel music and movies. Recently, however, I received an small influx of cash and...
