804S x 803S

Hey folks, How´re doing all right?

Well I´ve bought the 804S, but the delivery time is growing, and makes me think about the possibility to get immediately the model 803S.

I´d like to hear your opinions about the diferences of 804S and 803S. I know that the 803S have much more bass and body than the 804S. But about the highs and mids how could compare with 804S? Are they exactly like the 804S (clear, smooth, not harsh etc...)?

Pedro,

The 803s has more bass, but some will argue the bass of the 804s is a bit tighter. The 803s has a fuller mid range (probably because of the bigger box).

I found the 803s to make a better front speaker, but either will do nicely as a rear.
