True, you rarely see 703/704 for sale. To me, the 700 series is a very different sound from the rest of the B&W family. I feel (because I felt this way when auditioning them), that those that buy the 700 series stay content with them. If I have never owned the 800 series, and purchased the 700, I think I would have been this way.B&W 804S/Velodyne SPL-1000R/Anthem MRX720- Bottom

by ShakespeareI was wondering if anyone could advise where the XTs series fall within the rest of b&w's range? Some say that it is comparable to the 700 series. Would any of you guys agree? Some also say that except for the diamond series its also comparable to the 800 series. Your views would be appreciated-

by BlindamoodI'm currently running a 5.1 setup with the following: CDM 9NTs in front, CDM CNT center, and CDM 1NTs in the rear. I'm considering moving the 9NTs to another room (where I have a 2-channel system), and looking for ideas to replace them in the 5.1 setup.
Obviouusly, the CDM NT series...-

by BobFirst, let me say that I have made 12 transactions using Audiogon and have excellent feedback. All went without a hitch but, most were with local pickups. One advantage to living in such a large urban area, no problem finding local buyers or sellers.
On Friday, Oct 7, I had the winning...-
