what can anyone tell me about these surrounds.I was contemplating getting either the 600s3's or ds6 when i saw these for sale.How do they compare?Basically dont know anything about these.

B&W SCM8
The SCM8 belong to the THX & Matrix 800 series so they will not really match your 600 series sonically. You are probably better of with DS6 for rears/surrounds.

I bought a pair of XT2 speakers a while back for one of our family rooms. They really sound great. You should check them out. I think they sell for about $1,000 a pair.

As title says it all, which should I go with to use as rear surrounds? I have the Denon 2805 which is compatible with DPLIIx and will be using the DS6 as side surrounds for sure at about 2 feet above ear level when sitting down. Just registered to forum today. Long time lurker here. Wondering if anyone owns any of these speakers. Right now i have 705s for fronts, LCR6 for center, 602s for rears. Has anyone used or heard the DS6's as the fronts, rears, and sides in a 7.1 system (Center will probably be the LCR60)? They will probably be powered by a Denon 3806 or 4306 (not the 4806). Budget will be around $3000.00.
