Hi everyone. I've heard that this speaker might be released towards the end of summer '07. Also that the original intent was to have a larger cabinet than the 805S but that idea may have been shelved. I believe the 805D might be seen at CES and was wondering if it is going to be a replica of the 805S with the new 'D' tweeter or if it's a different design? I'm hoping the new model will have some more bass extension. A few months ago I went from floor standing speakers to the 805S and am very anxious to hear/see the new model. Does anyone have any more info they can share? - Thank you and I like this web site! :T
Any 'buzz' about the new 805D

by wisedFinally went diamond. I considered the new D3 804's but they don't go on sale in the US till January, plus I was already in love the 805 D's. Couldn't wait :B 805' plus a DB1 is more expensive than a pair of 804's but the bass extension is worth it. I matched them with a McIntosh MAC 6700 200 watt...-
