Replacement tweeters for B&W 600 Series S3: Are they available?

Hi,

I have a 604 and 603 and 3 of the 4 tweeters have been pushed in, do B&W sell replacements?

A few years ago I had to look into replacing one on an S2. I think they were about $45 USD.

They are available, Just contact your dealer, they run $27 ea.

Yes of course, they are available at your dealer ,and also if you contact B&W directly too!! They cost around $30 at your dealer and around $48 from B&W directly!!

how about the dust cap protector for the midrange? is it available? i had already changed my tweeter too but am still waiting for the dust cap.... kids!!

I dont think B&W will sell just a dustcap, that involves a little work, you would have to disolve the glue that holds the old dustcap on then re-apply the new cap, this takes a little practice to get it centered and looking like a factory application. I have never asked about re-cone kits. I may have to though............hmmmmm.

You'll have to put your dustcap together yourself I am afraid!!

Best bet is to contact B&W technical support and ask them to check with their spare part division ,and you might be quite surprised that they might sell you one, or maybe have one at hand and give it to you ,but you'll have yo pay for the shipment. It has happened to me with other small parts, that I thought could not be replaced or purchased. B&W surprised me, and had them for me in 2 weeks!!
