    802D positionning

    Hya,

In the long process of waiting the delivery of my 802D  I try to imagine how I will place them.

My room is non dedicated, so living room with furniture; dimensions are 8.55m X 5.60 ( 28.04’ X 18,4’)

At first glance I have 3 possibilities:

    A:

Distance between speakers 2.5M (8.2’), rear wall distance 0.1M (0.33’), lateral wall distance 2,60M (8.53’) & 3.10M (10,17’), listening position at 2.68M (8.8’) from the line joining the tweeters.

    B

Distance between speakers 3.8M (12.47’), rear wall distance 0.1M (0.33’), lateral wall distance 1.4M (4.60’) & 3.10M (10,17’), listening position at 3.35M (11’) from the line joining the tweeters.

    C:

    Distance between speakers 5.1M (16.73’), rear wall distance 1.10M (3.6’) & 0.5M (1.64’), lateral wall distance 0.1 ( 0.33’) & 0.20 ( 0.66’), listening position at 4.1M (13.45’’) from the line joining the tweeters.

    A & B I have a chimney between the 2 speakers.
C I have a seat in the line of sight of left speakers, it will hide the boomers but not mid-range and tweeters.

Any position you guys would recommend?

    Tks,

    Birdy

I currently have two 803S that are positioned 210 cm (82.7 in) from one another (measured from the center of each speaker). They are at 60 cm (23.6 in) from the wall. My listening position is 350 cm (11'5.8") from the point at the middle of the distance between the speakers.
