    805s VS 803s with the woofers disconnected

    Im wondering what the sound difference between an 805s and a 803s with the 2x 7" Rohacell disconnected/not powered.

    Do they sound the same? Obviously the actual driver is different 6.5" vs 6".

    But how do they sound? Can someone test this?

      I guess theoratically the only thing that might sound the same are the tweeters. 803 uses FST midrange driver whereas 805 uses regular Kevlar driver with rubber surrounds. Also there is a big difference in cabinet sizes, which bound to make a difference.

          wouldnt the crossover be adjusted different in each speaker?
          I'm just sittin here watchin the wheels go round and round...
