Used N803 & HTM1 or.....

Just wondering if you have a chance to purchase a used but perfectly working condition N803 and HTM1 together for us$5000, would you buy it? Or get the 803s and HTM3s.

Which is more worth it?

I would see if you could get that price down a little maybe $4800 or so. I use to have the N803's and have heard them against the new "S" series and the difference was hardly noticeable in my opinion. Granted the bass seemed to be a little tighter but the upper end almost seemed identical. I suggust letting your ears decide. Is the little performance worth the extra $2k or so if your getting the N803's for $3.5k, because I believe the new "S" series is $5.5k plus tax..
