Best B&W for 24/96 DVDA reproduction

I've been researching speakers and am inquiring about the best B&W for clearly reproducing and imaging 24bit/96 concert recordings. The B&W site lists Frequency Reponse and Frequency Range in their specs...which one of those is more important? The +-3db one? For 24/96 recording, which one of those speaker specifications should I pay attention to the most?

    Balistica,

    Thats easy (but expensive)

The best is the B&W 800D

However it requires a large room and serious amplificiation so most people find a B&W 802D more than enough.... This is my personal "sweet spot" in the 800 series - unebelievable quality for the (admitedly large) money!

If the $ are too much you can work down through the 803D, 803S, 804S and 805S to the 703...

    Enjoy the listening

    Geoff

      DVDA/SACD Connections to 1066
      by Mike Hayes
I am considering purchasing a Pioneer 563A ($180) universal player to replace my Toshiba SD5700. I am currently using just the digital connection (not using the 5 analog cables for DVDA). This will be my first experience with DVDA/SACD in conjunction with my 1066 so please bear with me.

Help on setting up for DVDA
      by Danbry39
Just bought my first DVDA, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and need to know how to set up the Rotel 1066. Denon 1600 DVD player to output DVDA. Right now, I've placed the disc in the 1600 and sound seems to come out of all speakers after I pushed the Multi Imput button on the Rotel's front panel. The display...

RDV-1060 update to fix DVDA, does exist!
      by Kevin D
Just to let you know, Mike at Rotel definately knows about the DVDA problem that reverts the 1060 to SCART mode, and they have an update. I know some people got the update, while others were getting the run-around..

They were pretty serious about saying you could really mess up your...

      RDV1060 DVDA Problem
      by fordster
I've had my RDV1060 for a few weeks now and finally got round to buying a DVD Audio (Under Rug Swept - Alanis Morrisette). When I insert the disc the player picks up that it is a DVDA and shows 96-24MLP on the display. However, that's about all that happens beyond a bit of clicking. The timer eventually...
