I'm considering switching my HT room around (less light interference and my wife is letting me buy new gear as part of switch :T) One thing I am considering is going to 705's as rear speakers. I currently have SCM8's in back on the wall (7' high, slightly in front of listening position). Up front is N804's and HTM1.
The 705's would be about the same height as the 804's and be very slightly behind the listening position. Also, is this position (on stands at ear level vs on the wall) a better way to set up rear channels. Room is 12' X 15'. Anybody have experience with 705's as rears? Feedback is appreciated.
