    New Member...

After searching for a long time for a good B&W forum, I finally found it and became a member today! I've enjoyed reading the posts so far!

My father has been an owner of B&W since the late 70s, so naturally my brother and I are fans as well! I am a recently married man, hence don't have as much money to spend on B&W toys as everyone else here, but I'm off to a decent start and will upgrade my setup as I can.

    What I currently have:

    Monitor: Sony 36" WEGA
    Amp: Denon AVR-1905
    DVD: Sony DVP-S7000
    Fronts: Wharfedale Diamond 9.1
    Center: B&W LCR60 S3

I had a pair of B&W 602 S3 that I sold to my brother last year, but am saving up for another pair. They will become my fronts, the Wharfedale's will go to the back.

    Again, glad to be here!

In remembrance of a fellow member, and a precious friend
            by wkhanna
Some of you who have been here a while may remember one of our more enthusiastic fellow members who used to post quite often.

Bob, aka Zmanbands, was a great lover of music, and was equally enthusiastic and selfless about sharing this passion with everyone. Bob was also passionate about...

With the ASC awards and the Acadamy Awards coming up soon, I have been trying to work my way through all my DVDs of the potential nominees. I know that comedies don't usually fare well when it comes to award night but, I found my self replaying scenes from Oh Brother Where Art Thou and laughing out...

            A PC for my brother
            by PMazz
My brother asked me to put a new bare bones PC together for him. As I'm a fan of Asus, a MB with all the bells and whistles looks to be a P4G8x deluxe OEM with onboard sound, LAN, and Firewire. Throw in 512 MB PC2100 DDR SDRam. For video, he likes to game some, aan Asus GeForce4 V9180 TD with 64 meg...
