705 vs HTM7 for center channel

I'm considering a piece of furniture that will not hold a HTM7 center, but would hold a 705. Are there any advantages to the HTM7 over a 705. Mains will either be 705's or 704's. Probably 704.

I'd go for the 705... as long as you aren't going to put a CRT on the top of it.

I'd go with the 705 if you are getting 705s for the rest of your speakers. That way you are guaranteed that they match up as best as they can.

Much of it will be for music. I'd say 65/35 Music/HT. That is why I'm probably going with the 704's as mains. Still havent decided yet. Plasma is first on the list.

I have a set of 704s and HTM7 in black for sale. Just curious, for those that have done the comparison, did you actually find the 705 sonically better than the HTM7?
