    B&W ASW 855 vs Velodyne DD 15

    I am trying to decide between these 2 subs, and would like to know your thoughts. I know that the Velodyne had the built in eq, but since Velodyne is coming out with the external EQ would the B&W 855 with the EQ be a much better set up? Also to all B&W sub owners how does you sub preform for movies? Do the B&W subs give alot of slam? And does anyone know the CDN retail of the DD-15 and any dealers in the Toronto area?

      I recently bought an ASW800 sub for $1350 (discontinued model). I use it for 2 ch music only and with a pair of N804. The sound is fantastic. Sorry I don't have any suggestions for HT sub.

          i have an old Velodyne CT120 sub that is a little boomy and the enclosure is pretty abused so i am going to build a new enclosure to house the driver and plate amp but while i am at it i want to do a better job of building it than the original and wanted to know if anyone has the driver...

          As a current owner of a ASW 850 Sub and adding another one for serious HT and Music bass. Would an ASW 855 Have a different Sonic sound or obvious difference in sound than my current ASW 850, because my dealer said he had a perfect condition ASW 850 at half the price of the ASW 855...

          I am trying to decide wheather the extra $$$$ is worth getting the ASW 875 over the ASW855. Should I just save my money and get the ASW 855? Is there really much difference between the 2 subs besides the DSP room correction that the ASW 875 has.

          I built a new sub which uses a pro amplifier. I decided I wanted to reconnect my old Velodyne sub back up as well to improve headroom. I used a y-adapter at the input of the proamp to daisy chain over to the old sub.
