Rotel - Adcom - Krell - vs 803

Hi

I need help and as I am no position to demo, your assitance is vital.

I need to drive my B&W 803's in front as well as HTM3 center. As stated in another thread I have an Pioneer ax5ai which is not good for driving my speakers.

My top option is the Krell kav350. This option is twice the price or more than my other options.

Other options are the Adcom 5503 or 7805/7.
Then also the Rotel 1095.

Obviously a safe bet will be the krell. Twice the price for three chanels only?

Assuming on a scale of 1 - 10, if my current Pioneer rates as 2 and the Krell would rate as 10, where do the others fit in?

Please, all I have to go on is your comments.

I wish you were able to demo the rotel vs. adcom. I'm quite curious in the comparison. I did an demo ~8 yrs ago and thought the adcom was the better sounding of the two, but lots has changed since then. I therefore for right or wrong have stuck with Adcom over the years as they have given me failsafe power to drive my speakers.

I turned in my 1090 for a Krell KAV3350 and never looked back !! NO comparison
More Definition, Detail, Focus, I would say transparency and openess. Just more open than the Rotel. I thought the rotel was good until I turned on the Krell and it was all over.

Thanks, you mention 3350, why do I only see a 3250 on their website?

OK, the Krell is up their, but what is the jump from 1.mass market receiver(pioneer) to 2.adcom/rotel to 3.Krell.
