    New 803D suggestions??

    hi,

My ""old"" setup was B&W 704 with, denon avc-A11SR, DVD2200,
with which I have been perfectly fine.

    I wanted more, (what's new ).
So i bought the 803D, soon they will be there.

Will i get most out of my new 803Ds.
My focuss is on 2-channel music listening, some films but that is for me a second choice.
I would like to hear your advise on this??
    greetings, Andor.

    Hey Andor
congrats on your new bling blings
I say... lose your denon... the 803D deserves much better than that...
it almost seems like the so-called "garbage-out-garbage-in" situation.. (I'm not trying to put your system down .. )
since your primary focus is the 2-channel, I would consider getting a new pair of powe/pre or a good integ. amp ...
btw.. are you gonna use your DVDP as a CDP..? if so... I would get a new CDP, too..
(trust me I'm not a salesman.. I'm not affiliated with anything..)

what electronics did you hear with the 803D at your dealer that made you get the speakers?
    I would go from there
    some rec.
Amp: low budget- MuFi A5, Kerll Kav250, MC6900, or Classes integ.
I wouldn't bother to mention the upper ends...
    good luck :T

      Hi,

I do feel, I am rather new in the ""high end"" business
      Thanks for your advise already,
Well that is something to think about,

I immediately agree on the dvdp, suggestions on a true CD player (with SACD if possible) combo with the 803Ds ....?? I heard that DVDp are not that good in true audio, is it.

My amp is not that old, i can you estimate how much I can gain here.

To answer you last question, i heard it ""most likely"", i can still find out, on a mid-range Rotel setup?

      Andor.
