I love the Rotel+B&W sound but I would like to know what B&W speakers match well with the RA-1062. I am considering the CM and 700 series. Did anyone listen to the CM-4 vs CM-6 vs 703 vs 704 on this amp? Is the RA-1070 a better choice? Thanks.

I will give more details in the Rotel forum, but let's say that the RCD-1072 / RA-1062 can drive any of the three B&W's I listened ( CM4 CM6 703 ) without any problem. Even the dealer was surprised with the 703's, since it didn't sound good at all on another setup: RC-1070 / RB-1070 / RCC-1055 . I only needed to put the volume knot at 30-40% so maybe that I bigger amp is needed for some people but not for me right now. -

Don't think of the 703 . Few of my friend got the 703 . none of them giving good credit for it ! so think it over.Comment

herotongtong, do you know what they don't like? And what amp did they use? I know that the 703 doesn't sound good at all on a RC1070/RB1070 combo but sweet on the little RA-1062 (surprising!). I guess that the 703 is a fussy speaker..

Me again asking some questions before returning a 3rd time to my dealer without deciding what to buy yet... To narrow down my options again, I'd like to know if somebody tried the McIntosh MA6500 or MA6900 integrated amp on the B&W 703 , Nautilus 804 or 804S ?

I listened to B&W 603s3 (too thin), CM4 (nice), CM6 (more bass and the FST rocks) and then 703 (the best by far). When I came back to the CM6, it sounded like well localized boxes and thinner so I won't go lower than 703's. But since they sound very good (for now) on the affordable RA-1062, I can...
