Just brought home my new 803D speakers and got them quickly hooked up so I could have a brief audition before revamping all my amp/processor electronics. They look and sound great! I also picked up the more basic HTM3S center and will try that out for movies. I'm mainly a 2 channel music guy, so the center and surrounds are not that critical to me. I still need to replace my surrounds as I've currently got Mirage towers back there. Ignore the mess and cabling as I was auditioning a bunch of speakers here over the past several months and had multiple power amps and speakers hooked up over time.

Upgraded these 803d to 802d! Not the new ones, but I love the depth of sound stage the original diamond's crossover gives... Not as forward as the newer diamonds.

Thinking to upgrade to a new processor at some point, but perhaps a DAC in the short term.

Happy with CM CENTRE S2,CM 6 S2 and CM1 S2 complimentary well with each other for 5.1 CH duty.
The CM6 S2 sound as good as 805D3 HIFI for a lot less price

Nice looking setup, congrats. You must have been misinformed about the new Diamond center, the 4 was dropped from the lineup, there is only the HTM-2 D3 and new HTM-1 D3. The 4 wouldn't have been a proper match for the 804 anyways, the HTM2-D3 is the way to go.

It's a MX-160 and 9 MC-601.

No accoustic elements. RoomPerfect of the MX-160 makes such a great job, that I don't need them.

I a using a Sumiko Blue Point #2 cartridge, I think the table is a good value. Especially now thru Audio Advisor as a closeout for $799 w/ Bluepoint #2. I would like to trade up to the Pro-Ject Carbon SE9.1

For a phono preamp I am using the Parasound Z. Bought for $149 as a demo. Sounds fine. I am sure this is just an entry level sound
