I opted for the RPA-2 for my Mains because after much research this appears to be Emotiva's best amp for music. I selected the XPA-5 for my Center and Surrounds.
I have N802, not the 802D's.

Did you try the Classé and how do they compare?
I am assuming you crossover every thing at 80HZ? with the two subs? Also did you try putting one sub on each side of the room?Farming looks mighty easy when your plow is a pencil, and you're a thousand miles from the corn field."Dwight D. Eisenhower- Bottom

HT Room additions
I obtained a couple of decor items for the HT room. I got the movie poster from the local BLockbuster when they went out of business. The Mac sign I found on eBay.
These are between the front right 802D and the right rear 804S.

This is my system which is 2 and multi-ch. 801's are bi-amped with Krell up top and Crown K2 on bottom. Bass is augmented by VMPS Larger powered by another K2 and a Velodyne ULD-15a.
Shown is an HTM2 because the HTM1 is being serviced (awaiting new mid).
p.s. why are these photos so small- I had to down size to this filesize to be able to upload.Ritter

Great first post, and welcome! Great looking system you have :-)
The pictures are small because you've attached them, but not used the image tag.

Introducing my 3rd favorite sounding system in the house but 1st favorite looking system
This system is fed content from my A/V rack in my seperate dedicated home theater (using a HDMI Matrix switcher to serve content to multiple rooms simultaneously). I control the components with a Harmony remote shot at a TERK IR Extender (highly recommended)
Full house system details in my profile if you're interested

I added a music server to my system and I thought I would share a pic and description with you.
The hard drive is a Fantom 1TB Quad interface connected to the Mac Mini with by 800 Firewire. The Mac Mini is heavily tweaked. It is a 2.53GHZ Core 2 Duo with 6GB of RAM a 40GB SSD, partitioned so that a tweaked version of the system software resides on 10GB. I use Pure Music (Amarra Blows) and the signal is sent down a USB cable (From DB Audio) to an Ayre QB9 and listen in Measure Mode. All of the music files are saved in AIFF format.
So, how does the sound from the QB9 compare to that from the Ayre D1-xe. The QB9 sounds so much better If you have never heard a music server before go out and try one
Crystal Clear Music Tweaked Mac Mini / Yosemite -> JRiver 20 -> Ayre QB9DSD -> Bryston BP26DA -> Bryston 4BSST2 -> B&W 802Di | Transparent Reference XLRs, Transparent Super Speaker Cable, Maple Shade USB cable, Crystal Clear Music Power Cords- Bottom

I've been a member of this forum for quite some time, but now is the time to post some pictures, as the room is getting a bit decent now It's not quite finished yet (no hardwood floor yet), but it's getting there.
Our current tv is in the cabinet, the 2 Classé amps are too big (and heavy 8O ) to fit in there.
We switch sides on the sofa to watch movies.
Yes that 10 year old Denon is my current pre-pro, and yes it's holding back the rest of the system A LOT, and yes I need an upgrade. But as with everything hifi related, we need to overcome the WAF first
We use the white wall behind the speakers for projection, so it isn't painted yet.
When we buy a new tv, I'll hang it on the wall above the center channel and install a retractable screen.
Update: the gear: the speakers are 802's (non diamond), HTM1, ASW1000 sub. Rear speakers are my old 6 series (602, LCR6), but the rear center channel isn't connected yet (no 6.1 on my Denon ). Amps are Classé Ca-401 and CAV-180. Prepro for now is my trusty old Denon 3300. The sub is not in the same league, but I bought it way before I bought the nautilus speakers, and I don't use it for stereo.
Projector is fairly new, an Epson 5000, which throws an excellent 165 inch picture. yummy!

you might want to paint the ceiling in a dark color that will kill the reflexions :TFarming looks mighty easy when your plow is a pencil, and you're a thousand miles from the corn field."Dwight D. Eisenhower- Bottom

For me the tv is only for watching "tv". Movies needs to be on something a lot bigger than even a 60# plasma, in my humble oppinion.
So that is why I have both - and honestly you don't get the same feeling with a tv, no matter how god it is.
(disclaimer - have never had a 100# plus inches plasma, that may do the trick)- Bottom

The room is still part of the living area, so we can't have a blacked-out room . Too dark colors and it would not be cosy any more when listening to music or watching tv during the day, especially with a very dark ceiling.
But it does makes a difference. Funny story: when I was in the market for my projector, I went to a dealer which had the same Epson in his living room. his walls and ceiling were pure white and the picture looked like cr*p! I would never have bought it after seeing that. Then I went to another dealer with the same projector, but in a dedicated room with dark non-reflecting walls, and it was 10.000 times better. The picture I have is getting close enough to his dark room, so I'm happy. A good screen with a dark wall behind it will also help to stop scattering the light to the ceiling, so I can still improve.- Bottom
