I posted once a long time ago, but my system has totally changed as of last week.
It may not be audiophile, but my loft can not support that. I have been trying to build a solid Lifestyle 2ch/Home Theater system.
Rotel RSX 1068
Rotel RMB 1077
Rotel RCD 1072
B&W FPMs
B&W PV1
Fujitus 50"
B&O AV Rack/Cable covers
Richard Grey 600s
Toshiba HD A1

Very nice, warm, and inviting looking loft.
The audio rack is made by Bang and Olufson. Construction is rubber and aluminum. Dorrs shut with a slow fuild movement and there is an optional back to the rack which can be removed for better airflow. one or two fans lets me use my system with the cabinet totally closed.- Bottom

I agree -- a very sharp-looking setup! Kind of futuristic-looking. I especially like the B&W FPMs in black.Brad- Bottom

sikoniko, am I very happy with my choice to support HD DVD over Blue Ray. Quality, selection and firmware support all for half the price of BD. you are right in that alll we need is a little more support. Check out the link below if you want to see where a ton of HD DVD owners post. Its a good plrace to find reviews and insider info.
BlazeMaster, Ill take the picture and post it today.
Alpina, never had a girl say I had a nice rack...but ill take it - Bottom

Love the setup Vancouver. Nice cappuccino machine too
Think i remember you showing that once before.
Clean cable run too. Just the way it should be. I cant stand messy cables. Nothing worse then thousands of $$ in equip to be shown with a mess of cables.B&W- Bottom

I would describe it as a more accurate and defined sound. Room treatments make the biggest improvement. You can have the best equipment and have it in a room that produces tons of echos with no wall/window or accoustic treatments it will sound very lousy. Just don't go too crazy with room treatments as it can also make a room sound very dull.Last edited by Isaac; 16 November 2006, 05:39 Thursday.- Bottom

The evolution continues...
Thought I'd post a couple of updated photos, since I added the matching ASW 850 sub. Bought used through audiogon this summer, and the difference is unbelievable. Next step is to update the rears to a pair of matching 805S...

nelob, I'd recommend going down to your local guitar center and buying the auralex foam for your center channel. Thay are designed to sit under studio monitors. I put them under my 824's and it tightened the sound up. this will get that speaker off the floor, but won't raise it too high. it will also angle it up.
everyones system looks great!I'm just sittin here watchin the wheels go round and round...- Bottom

Thanks Sikoniko. I'm going to check those Auralex out. I hope they are not pricey as my table is temporary. I am still looking for a tv stand that will fit the center channel. I saw the JSP and the salamander but we may be moving to another place so we are holding on our purchase.
More power to the forum.- Bottom

Hey guys. I just set up my BW system in the last month or so. I would like to post pictures but reducing the size to fit the 100kb limit for attachments makes the pictures blurry. How does one post the picture to show up directly in the post as many have done here? thx.- Bottom

Those pix are hosted on Kodak gallery, I guess the server must be down when you guys tried to view them (I can see them fine right now). Do let me know if the pix still cannot be viewed, I will re-post them.
Scott, how's going? Yup, got some new gears to mix with the old. Totally enjoying my 2-channel setup now......maybe that's why I am sooo lazy about setting up the rest of my 5.1 HT (will try to do it this weekend...hehe). You should definitely visit us in Taipei.
