        Miper
        Nice layout!

Really like the ballance of HT and 2 Ch. rooms in one location. Simple on the HT and ALL OUT on the 2 Ch.
Your presentation of the artwork in the 2 Ch. room leading up to your equipment was very well done as well.

I asked the same question the other day. Hope this helps.
            As for the paintings. :T

            quote from mjb

Having uploaded the images somewhere, you use the image tag (IMG) with the URL to put them in a post. If they're uploaded here as attachments, use the attachmentid. eg, this is the line, and use square brackets [] not <>
            <IMG>http://www.htguide.com/forum/attachment.php4?attachmentid=14041</IMG>
As for making the images bigger, you'll have to upload them somewhere else (like imageshack) as this forum only supports a certain size, and again use the IMG tag with the URL.

If Seinfeld had an pad like this one Classe and B&W would not be able to keep up with demand.

Glad to see a huge music collection as well.

                        Like everyone else, lovely set-up!

Now, with regards to posting posting pictures within the thread. You should open an account with a free picture site like flickr and upload your pictures there.

Or, you can right click the picture on your page, if you're on a window machine hit "Properties" and copy the url of the picture. This usually ends in .jpg

If on a Mac, right click and hit "Copy Image address" and it's done.

Post the .jpg url between image tags. This is an image tag. [i-m-g][/i-m-g]

Allow no spaces when pasting the url between the image tags.

I'll do an example from you page.

Again though, open a free account with a site like photo-bucket as you don't want to eat up the bandwidth from minhembio.com

BTW - Do you have a gallery or site with your work? It's wonderful. I would like something like that but with artists like John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderly, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Muddy Waters etc.

Sorry, guess I just reached my threshold of reading gushing praise. I now feel it necessary to ask why no seat in the sweet spot. Thanks !! Really 802Ds speakers are really amazing !! By the way, you have a nice setup either .

About, "Denon in Black", you are correct, they are really beautifull ! Luckly, both sounds incredible !!

                                              Best wishes ,

                                              Thanks,

My comfort is that they sound the same regardless of the color. IMO, 802Ds are the sweetest sweetspot of speakers in terms of price/performance ratio and music reproduction. Two things that you should have and should not have with those lovely elephants is a large room and no neighbors. If you meet those requirements 802Ds are must buys. However, I don't meet any of those so I settled with 803Ds for now.

Last thing of this years ugrading project is to upgrade my interconnects, but I don't know anything about cables:

May I ask what interconnects you use for your Denons?
                                              cheers,

                                                Hello Miyuki,

I like your point of view, when you talk about "Must have a Big place and don't have neighbors" :P . I have a medium place and luckly no neighbors close enough. Then I can take till the last breath from this lovely speakers. I hope you find a good place to put your future 802s, ASAP.

Now, talking about cable, I my opinion, this is a complex subject. So, I tryed a lot, and made my own cables, and named "Invisible". Because, they are. IMHO.

                                                Thats all for now.

Thanks I agree we are all looking for upgrades and I lead them all :B

My view is this every seven years I like to change my entire system that way I enjoy it for a number of years and also can benefit from major advances.

Now for the source BD player is an exception so for now the last piece I need is the new/prepro that support HDMi 1.3b (Classé SSP-800)

                                                  I used to have Integra Research RDC7, RDA7, RDV1, Sony SCD-XA777ES with B&W 802N, 803N and HTM1 and B&W 2500 sub Seleco HT300, StewartFilmScreen FireHawk 16:9 100"D

IntegraResearch.com is available for purchase. Get in touch to discuss the possibilities!

Seven years later I have started upgrading to:
                                                  Classé CA-5200, CA-2100, (3) B&W 802D, JL Audio Fathom F113, JVC-RS2, Stewart FilmScreen FireHawk G3 2:35 128"D, Sony BDP-S550 Blu Ray Player, Sony SCD-XA5400ES

Now all I am waiting for is Classé SSP-800 in the Spring :B

So who know what I will do in 2015

The media receiver of Pioneer makes it a great deal easier to manage cables.
Two antenna, one OPT, two HDMI, one Ethernet cable go into this one ... The TV is basically only a display with one proprietary system cable! For obvious reasons Pioneer could not adopt the 1.3x HDMI standard between the media receiver and the monitor.
As a network engineer this is great, yet I don’t like proprietary protocols!

I also bought some Japanese pine blocks from a Japanese carpenter to put my rear N803 speakers on the same level as my fronts. Those are very cheap but serve their purposes. My system is for multichannel 92PCM music and not that ideal for movies that require more difuse sounding rears.

I have actually listened to almost the same setup as yours but with different cables and acoustics. That setup blew away my setup in direct two channel listening.

Having read your message on providing more amplification I was wondering should I not be worried about over driving these speakers? I have an ancient Sony Es Ta-E77Esd sitting in my garage that has not been used in many many years. Would it be safe for me to drive my B & W's with this amp seeing how it is rated at 200 watts per channel and thses speakers are rated at a max of 150 watts per channel? I know the sound would be outstanding with the additional power.

First, welcome to the forum. There's lot's of great information in here.
As to your amp question, it's very hard to overdrive or give to much power (especially dedicated amp power) to speakers. I once ran some patio speakers with 200 watt channels of a 5 channel amp. Sounded great. On the other hand, under driving speakers is not good at all. The drivers can be damaged.

As a rule, external power amps have much better power supplies and can deliver current much better than the amps in receivers.

The great thing about audio is the ability to try things. I would hook up the old amp and see how it sounds. Well built amps do hold their own over time.

                                                                            Hope this helps.

The effect is it 'tightens' the sound overall. You might like to try the PTS-F on those custom-made pines woods blocks.

I have to rearrange to make it a permanant addition to my current system Before I hooked it up I took the top cover off and used some computer air to ensure there was no dust or dead bugs or whatever else could have climbed inside. The amp works!!! The sound was, better. I really did not take the time to really listen, but with the next two weeks off and rain in the forecast for Tennessee, I will have plenty of opportunities to listen.Once I get everything set up, I will post pics of my system. Certainly not the system I dream of, only the system I can afford.

I'll do an example from you page.

BTW - Do you have a gallery or site with your work? It's wonderful. I would like something like that but with artists like John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Cannonball Adderly, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Muddy Waters etc.
