It's been a while since I posted pics of my system. Since I first posted a pic here, I pretty much have the basement all done. I started to move the equipment down to my new sound room. For a refresher, here is a pic of the system as it was before the move:

Now here are the pics of the new room. I'm still setting things up.

VPI HW19Jr w/MKIII platter upgrade, Audioquest PT9 tonearm, and Sumiko Blue Point. Darn thing won't fit in the Salamander Synergy rack. Forgot to measure it. I'll have to figure out how to integrate it into the system until then it's going into my 2 channel system.

They are "podspeakers". They come in all colors and many shapes. They look like they have B&W-like kevlar speakers. I saw them at the FSI show and the dealer told me that this company was started by engineers that left B&W (after saying that they looked like B&W copies!).

BTW they look alot better in real than in photo

I like my black center, sub, and surrounds, match the N802 looks quite nicely for a great price.

The company is Blueroom, For those who do not know who or what Blueroom Speaker LTD England is, its a company started by former B&W employees, Robert Trunz and the men who were responsible for designing the orginal B&W Nautilus, Lawrence Dickie and Simon Ghahary. (all relitivly new info to myself as well.)

BlueRoom was an awesome record label too. It's defunct now, but they used to publish "goa" trance music to show off their speakers with. A while back they used to make larger pod speakers called the Housepod and the Technopod. I never got to hear them but they sure looked cool. I think some of the best electronic music ever written was originally released on BlueRoom records. I love listening to their stuff. ;x(

Well, I just spent 3 hrs putting together my new Salamander rack, cherry and black to go with the "theme"
Still have to move the PC over to the rack, order a longer HDMI cable to hide it, get some heavy curtains, new carpet, finish the trim in the livingroom... the list goes on and on, but the progress seems to move forward week by week.

                                          Hi Chris,

The cabinet is a nice touch. Are you crushing the wires with the cabinet in place against the wall? I can't tell. It just seems that way because of the extra slack you have with the cables. I'm planning on order a full set of cables from Lex this summer, but want it sized up accordingly to fit neatly with little slack in my audio rack.

Not to insult you, but that Blueroom center looks so funny in it's location. It looks like a little bug-eyed alien next to those 802s. lol But more importantly, do they blend with alright with the 802s while playing movies?

You need to hurry up and and convert that pc to a HTPC case. :T
One suggestion. I noticed you're using a wireless mouse and keyboard just as I am, but with no coffee table to lay them down on. I found a keyboard that looks very promising, and thought maybe you might be interested since you don't have a coffee table to keep the mouse in place. I'm looking at purchasing one since my table top is glass and the optical mouse doesn't work well with glass. Check it out here.

                                          Nice job so far!

                                            Chris ... great setup!

Comfy, cosy & a room in which I'd like to sit down in & stay. Great pics!

Hehe, no im not crushing the wires, theres an extended rear panel on the back.

Yea I know the Bluerooms look goofy, but I won them in an auction at work, and they sorta match.. LOL. I may buy some cherry and make the center riser taller to sit more on par with the height of the 802s. The center sounds pretty good, i was suprised. The surrounds are decent, I just need to get them in a proper location, they were just kinda "plugged in".
I have a different PC that will be going in the rack soon, its a media center PC.

Yea, its wirless keyboard and optical mouse. They work great. The mouse is usually on the arm of the couch, or seat cusion, works on whatever, i get lazy sometimes and lay on the floor. Was thinking of picking up bluetooth next time, so i dont have to worry about the PC being behind me on the cabinet.

Thanks, the room is cozy, and i spend alot of time just doing nothing.. well, listening to music and wasting time on the internet.

My first contribution to the thread...

Unfortunately these don't belong to me - they belong to a dear friend of mine who's as crazy (or crazier) about hi-end audio gear as I am.

These sound so good that it's scary!

I will be posting pictures of my setup shortly ...

Hi all, I´m from Germany and new to this forum!

                                                  I´m planning a set with 2 803S, 2 805s, a HTM3s and ASW825,
but I´d need some good-looking furniture that fits the colour of the B&Ws.

Can somebody please tell me where I could buy this racks:

                                                          Hello All,

                                                          Great Forum Here!

I've been a visitor for many months now and finally decided to register to post my new 804S' in stunning Black Ash!!! Let me say this color is much better than i excected!

I've been saving for these speakers for over a year and finally am proud to be an owner! :B :B

                                                          Enjoy the pics!

The last shot really captures the essence and beautiful veneer. Not cheap at all, not by a long shot!

One suggestion to you to maybe help out a slight bit, if you can (not sure on the room you have do to the picture), but if you can tilt the center LCR60 up a little bit (put something underneath the front), that might help make the center stand out more. By stand out I mean sound better as it would be more aimed towards ear level.

I really like the room and the setup. It looks good. The color of the walls really sets things off I think! Is the front wall a slightly more blue color to it? It might just be the light from the windows or something, but it looks darker than the back wall which is a nice sliver color!

I think it looks really good (everything)!
