    Wall Brackets for 705s??

    Hi,

I am thinking of installing B&W 705s as my rear surounds. Does any one know of any wall brackets to suit - they don't seem to have obvious mounting holes and I don't want to have to drill into them

    Geoff,

Just a quick thought, what about using shelves to mount the speakers, ergo, no holes in the speaker cabinets.

Here are the brackets I use. They use the 4 existing holes in the speaker for mounting and are a perfect match dimensionally at all 4 corners (even taking into account the trapezoidal shape ).

          Jlee,

          Thanks...

          Where did you get them?

How do you find the 705's are surrounds?

Have you considered mounting them upside down to get the tweeter further away from the ceiling?

          Geoff

Need Help Wall Mounting Heavy Speakers
            by Eric S
I've been working on building four of Thomas & Jon's M8A Mk III sealed speakers as surrounds for my basement theater. Now that they are nearly complete (and sound GREAT!), I need a way to mount them to the walls. The trouble is that they are quite heavy - 50lbs each. The room is framed with 2x4...

I'm just trying to get some feedback before I start spending some hard earned cash.

I've recently got my lovely 805's , which due to room constraints are situated on wall brackets on the front wall with about 8 feet between them and 30 cm from the side walls on either side . Unfortunately...

            601s vs the 705s?
            by BlazeMaster
Hi, all I currently have the 601s right now for my fronts with the LCR600 and am planning for a eventual upgrade to the 700 series within next 6 months and wanted some ideas. I know it's all going to come down to me listening to them and pick the one I like better. What's the different in sound between...

Will this combination work - 705s with htm7 with fpm6's?
            by alpina
            Hi guys,

We have a room that is about 4.6mts wide. on one end we have a 50" plasma and on the other our sofa.

We want to use 705s with htm7 at front. originally we were leaning towards inceilings for rear but are now looking at the option of fpm6's at rear on either...

What are you using to wall mount your speakers? I'd like some to tilt and pan easily but hold tight when the correct position is found. The enclosures will be same as the PE .25 cf. Any recommendations?
