This was the first place I ever heard that term before. I believe it was from Trevor, back in the day. I heard someone calling it that on FB yesterday. Here, I think we just call it controlled chaos and return lines that stretch for miles. LOL.Doug

It's a British thing
From Wikipedia: Boxing Day is the day following Christmas Day (December 26th), when servants and tradesmen would receive gifts, known as a "Christmas box", from their bosses or employers, in the United Kingdom, Barbados, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, South Africa, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and other former British colonies.
But, yeah, controlled chaos sounds about right :T- Mike

by ClawHi,
I picked up a Klipsch 12" Synergy sub from Best Buy the other day on Boxing Day sale for $250 CDN (regular $450 CDN).
I use my system for 70% movies, 20% music, and 10% TV/Radio. The fronts are B&W 604S2, LCR6S2 centre, and DefTech ProCinema 200 surrounds....-

by kmakI'm pulling the trigger today on a KFE42A10 and BEV 6120 HD receiver. A local store has a Boxing Day sale today, with no payments and no interest until summer. I hope they have it in stock. I'll post pics later with it in the armoire. :T - Loading...
