    ISF Calibration in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pa

Hello all. My panasonic g10 has about 130 hours or so on it and I'm ready to have my screen calibrated. Can anyone recommend a tech for my area or point me in the right direction on how to find one?

    Thanks,
    Shane

      Contact Gregg Loewen here: http://www.lionav.com/services.php

I know him, he's a cool guy. He and Michael Chen did my RPTV back in 2000. Some day I'll have him back to do my projector, if I ever feel like having it done.

I have been reading up about the importance of periodic ISF calibration and would like to try to do it myself. Everywhere I read warns NOT to do it myself as I can really screw things up. I realize I am flirting with disaster but I figure that if I got through four years of graduate school, I should...

SXRD + ISF Calibration = WOW

I recently took delivery of a 50" Sony SXRD TV. I had it ISF calibrated yesterday. The TV was pretty good out of the box. I adjusted the user controls a bit and got the picture good looking. Then came the ISF calibration. Turns out the TV was at about 10000 kelvin (standard is 6500). Once that...

Well, I finally had the chance to have my new Pioneer Elite PRO-1130HD calibrated on Friday. As expected, the results are amazing! The entire process took about 3 hours. This was significantly shorter than the 6 hours it took to calibrate my Mitsubishi Diamond RPTV. Not having to worry about convergence...

I checked around and that's a good price. They sent some of their installers back east to get (ISF Certified) They had two Samsung LCD's side...

I'm just wondering what a certified ISF technician does that a user such as myself cannot do. I know that he can get into the Service Menu, etc., but take for example the Toshiba 57HX93. It seems to have a nominal 9 point convergence capability and then a more comprehensive 56 point convergence ability....
