Here are some pic`s of last years show...






80 rooms...80 different setups...usually when you walk into the Hotel, the Home theater boys are there...it starts off with joe 6 pack systems and goes up...up...Levinson with Wilson...

So in April is our big annual show...it seems this year it is only in one Hotel as last year it was in three.

There is a whole section with referce, audiophile cd`s and Vinyl.

Anyway if anybody is going...let me know!!!!

Well after all the build up...so much happened...so much was the same as last year....some new friends.....
I am exhausted!

You know these poor exhibitors...they have to deal with Joe Six Pack that says ayoye...hey look at this 40 000$ for speakers...or ah there is not enough bass on your JM LAbs at 80 000$...I mean ouch to these guys...

I go there to learn and meet people...get some advice...make some friends with these guys and they give you the world....

Lots of passionate audio crazed guys and actually girls....

I am going to listen to a Class A amp 40 watts * 2 at Class A 8O .....1800.00$....When I hear it I might be believe it....

I met some guys from the forum...some are even cool dudes...but nothing like the dudes from here ofcourse

Anyway I will add to this over the next week...

Hey Frank!

Well...it was cool....met some of the forum members of QAV! That was alright....Since we knew about the Holiday INN we all met up there before and after the show with coffee and stuff...you know to say what we were gonna see and then when we came back talked about what we saw.....

Overall...the show was smaller than last year...not as much home theater...a lot of tubes...tons and tons of tubes....vinyl....speakers are getting smaller and smaller and sounding bigger and bigger....technology what an amazing thing!

To me it is a must see. When you walk into a store, any store, they want to sell...they don`t have the full line, and, most of them tell you part of what they understood from the manufacturer because there pea brain can`t keep all the info inside....

I couldn't make it, because I had the electrician at my place all week-end to install an electrical sub-panel with 4 20A circuits for my dedicated HT. The guy is really busy, so he only had the week-end to do my electrical wiring.
