feng shui and your ht...

so my ht isn't extensive enough, but i know many of you have what i would call "the works" and i was wondering if anyone practices feng shui for the way their theater is arranged.

i dunno... i was at the discovery channel store and saw a bunch of books on the subject and one thought led to another and i wondered how the two might work together.

just trying to start a disscussion...

Well, not sure I "get it". But I guess the answer is no. I have such space limitations with an 18 X 20 room, that I really only have 1 way to have my theater anyway. Last time I tried to move everything, I wound up moving it back, lol.

Yea it's all based on balancing "chi". The easiest way to do this is simply hang some little crystals all over the place. These supposedly reflect good "chi".

You can use their "compass" and test your room. But every "cure" for a bad situation involved placing either a windchime, a mirror, or a crystal in the problem area. So my quick and dirty solution, would be to buy several small crystals and place them around the HT.

wow! from what i understand about feng shui (admittedly not much) that sounds about as likely as maury or sally solving family disputes in a one hour show.

Well, I have a few mirrors placed around the home that are Feng Shui friendly, I had these up for eons, before Feng Shui was envogue. Must be a cultural thing for even then I didn't know I was practicing anything other than what my Father in grained into me :B

I practice feng shui how my HT is arranged. I'm assuming feng shui means WIFE.
