      A note:

If you buy the CE's of Man on Fire, I Robot or Day After Tomorrow, there is a $3 coupon off one of the others. CC has them for $17 this week and they include a free ticket to Fantastic 4.

      I'm likely getting:
      Aviator 2 disc
      I, Robot CE
      Man on Fire CE

Go Tell The Spartans is one I have been waiting for. Burt Lancaster does a greatjob in this one.

Also I'll be going to THE BRAVADOS, a Greg Peck western, Warlock, a Henry Fonda western, and three of Sinatra's early films, Tony Rome, Lady In Cement and The Detective.

        I'll be broke...

But George, with all those new movies to watch you won't have the time (or inclination) to go out and spend money. :

If I could I would recomend renting Are we There yet before buying. I took the family to a dollar theater a couple of weeks ago to see that and for the 4 bucs it cost us to see it....I was still just so so with the movie.

That said, The Aviator is an awsome movie IMO. That's maybe the only other movie before star wars that I have gone to a theater to see in the past year and was very pleased with that and will be purchasing that.

I'd love to get the complete series of Dick VanDyke, but I saw the MSRP and it scared me off a bit.

The only other one that peaked my interest was the Richard Prior double live disk. I think that one contains a show I havent seen in a long time and it was great.
            IMO

Batteries Not Included was a great memory from my childhood. Not worth buying, though. (I think it might even have an * at the beginning of the title)

The Aviator I'm sure I'll end up owning, for various reasons. But not sure if I want to buy it now, with HD around the corner.

I'll see Spanglish for sure, one way or the other.

Don't Do it Chris! Save the 3.99 on the rental. Go and watch your lawn grow first! This movie is el-crap-o-suck-o! :tired:

                  :boohoo:

If you want I can tell you how it ends, I won't now. But it is just terrible. Let's see what kind of movie can I compair this too......I will thank of somthing and post it later. Do not want to insult any other movie this bad unless it rates it.

I'd disagree. I thought Spanglish was excellent.

Really Nick? oh man. Then again I am pretty wierd when it comes to movies. I know a lot of people Love "Oh Brother Were Art" or what ever it is called. And I thought it was terrible. Took a lot of flack from the family on that one. They loved it.

                      Did you like the ending?

I loved "oh brother..." I just liked spanglish, a nice feel good movie but Adam Sandler is not a really good actor even if you like his films you have to admit all his characters are actually the same person ---Adam Sandler, but hey he does do a standup job of being himself  but hey who doesn't think happy gilmore was funny. My problem-- his character doesnt do serious very good. He is getting better scripts (like spanglish) to be able to spread his acting wings a little more into the serious side, I just dont think he is keeping up.

                              You're welcome Pat.

Huh. I swung by Best Buy and they didn't have either of the titles I was looking for. Oh well, I'll try another one tomorrow.
