See if this works.

1. Go to profile

2. At profile, enter your password

3. Under cookies, check both of the top two items (save my user name and password and log me on automatically - this is from memory, so I'm not exactly sure of the wording used)

4. Click the button at the bottom of the page.

Well, it can't be that you don't have cookies enabled on your computer or it wouldn't work on the other sites.

Send an e-mail to Lex asking him to look at it. He'll contact Mats and you should be able to auto-login shortly. This happened to me also. Not sure what the reason was but it wasn't my cookies.

Actual correct answer for any administrative problems are to post them in Admin. Then if you don't get a response to it, email me and I will remind Mats to address it.

I suggest where an option, you try your password issues on a second computer before seeking help. If that's not an issue, please check your browser security settings, to make sure you aren't blocking us out, then if that doesn't work, seek help.

Actually Frank, go to the bottom of the forum home page and sign-in there > (Username & Password). Don't forget to click on the "Sign me in automatically" check box. If you do this in your profile area it may not work. It doesn't for me.

This should work:

Delete all your cookies for HTGuide through your profil UNCHECKING log me in automatically and unchecking SAVE USERNAME and PW on this computer.

Then close your browser completely. Reboot even to be sure.

Then go into profile, click check
Save username and PW on this computer, and Log me in automatically on each visit.
Now, on the bottom of the main forum page, you should have a place to log in. Log in, checking the save username box.

This should work. If it doesn't, I can't help.
