I just wanted to post a short complimenting review to Marantz.
I went over to a cafe this weekend, and there was some good music on. I was enjoying my tasty snack, and I was surprised that the music really did sound good. I asked my friend what she thought about the quality, and she said it sounds very clean. I look around looking for the speakers, and see the Marantz logo hanging 8 feet above my head. I asked to look closer and looked behind to find the model: Marantz LS-10S. Small little speakers.
I usually don't like these types of speakers as the highs are usually overly sharp, and the bass is usually muffled or completely gone. These speakers really did sound very smooth and rich, and the bass was actually tight and clear. I looked them up. 10cm full range speakers. I found a few for about $50 on auctions. Great sounding little speakers if any is looking for some casual monitors. :T
