    Two interesting pieces from dvdfile.com

    First story talks about Indiana Jones possibly released on dvd next Fall, and the other about some guy suing a studio over widsescreen.

      Good news on the first hand.... I'll be one of the first to pick up the Indiana Jones series.

          Yeah, Indy would be nice wouldn't it? The second - what a farce. It's bad enough that the studios/labels themselves want to f*** us with this digital copy protection BS, but this idiot . . . ? :roll:

          (sliding soap box back into closet) I'll take Sonnie's example and go sit calmly and watch an anamorphically enhanced, 2.35:1 DVD and be happy.

                              people like the guy in the second story are the reason for the disclaimer at the beginning of all 'pan and scan' movies...

                              "This movie has been modified from it's original format to fit the screen and for television time" (blah blah)
