Holiday wish
It was the week before Christmas,
and all through the house,
we searched for new audio gear,
we found not even a new CD.
We hung our stockings from the chimney with care,
Would Santa fill them with digital media and vibrabods galore?
We kept looking throughout the house, the whole week long,
hoping to find a new DD receiver, an amp, or a speaker or two.
But we found not even a DVD, a needle, a record or two.
Oh where oh where did they hide my new tunes?
The stores were all empty, not a DVD player in sight,
I only hope that Saint Nick presses play in my house,
before he rides his sleigh o' the hills Christmas night.
But if not a DVD player, a CRT would do just fine,
or maybe a plasma to light up my eyes,
like a 6 year old boy with a new fire truck or Nintindo!

of columns, of planers, of centers and surrounds.
Santa oh Santa I sure hope you got our list.
Dolby Digital, DTS, ES and more,
HDTV, Subwoofers, multi-disc changers,
we don't ask more.
So what will it be Santa, 2 channel or 5.1?
So, before the night ends, after the last stop was made.
Ole Saint Nick dawns his 5.1 headphones, and presses play,
He's up, he's off, and away he goes.
Here's hoping Santa dropped a little audio joy your way,
before he rode off in the night, listening to 5.1, and watching
a leftover DVD, the Santa Clause I believe.
Then we heard him say, as he rode over the hills:
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
Ok, it's bad, I know, but it's from me, to you. Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night!
