I think CRT black levels are not that far off, Burke. Have you read about the amazing black levels reportedly projected by the NEC HT1000 dlp projector ? Not quite there, but getting awfully darn close, according to some CRT-O-PHILES.

Sony Japan has announced they'll be releasing a dvd player/recorder using the blue laser technology. Don't know when it will be in North America but it's gonna be expensive. Over $3000.

I have a Netbook and decided to get a simple Samsung black and white Laser printer to print stuff off of it. Problem is, I can't get the damn driver to load into the Netbook. I have a portable dvd drive that I can hook up to the Netbook but it get's about 2/3rd's of the way through... -
