Watchoo all think of this thing? More $ than the RS meter and probably better, but better enough to not need correction curves? (Which are plentiful for the RS meter and probably not so for this one.)

Higher cost, digital display and a frequency range from 31.5Hz to 8KHz all hurt this compared to the good old trusty analog RS meter IMO

I have an analog RS meter. But it is allegedly being discontinued, and was curious if this was worhtwhile recommending in its stead to future purchasers.

Well, it's unsubstantiated rumor. I've seen posts in a couple of places where people trying to order it said they were told that.

I thinking the same way Lex is! I'm heading to my RS to grab a backup unit. I tried the digital model and didn't like it. That nice clear sweep arm makes the analog unit so much easier to use IMO.
