I'm trying out a new magazine

My home theater has been a work in progress for most of the past 15 years. Now it isn't a cinema palace by any shake, but what's there is mine and I did it myself. Did I make mistakes ? Plenty. If I had to do it over again, would I do it differently ? Yes. But I am a little long on the tooth now and unless I win the lottery, I won't be making major changes, except for the occasional upgrade. Still it is nice to read about how to do things right, and there's a new magazine about to hit the newsstands that gives a lot of space to the home theater DIYer. I don't know how good it will be, but I am going for a 1 year sub to try it out. First issue looks really interesting.

Hey guys. My buddy Chris who is staying with me right now has been hired by this mag to write articles about building his dedicated theater. You may have seen a few posts about this in TTP. He'll be joining the guide shortly so I'm sure you'll hear a lot more about it. He's also asked me to help him out, so you may see me talking about it from time to time. I just spent all yesterday with him and his wife Jen looking at houses!

It will be a dedicated theater article from start to finish.

Guys-

I'm actually a contributing writer for this magazine. I'm told by the publisher that it should be printing this weekend or early next week and then being distributed right away. You can still sign up to be delivered the premier issue if you sign up right away.
I'm going to be very interested to hear ya'll feedback about the magazine, as I'm not even sure exactly what it's going to be like. But I'm especially interested to hear what you think of my article. Talk to ya'll soon! :LOL:
