    What's happening ?

Time to rag all you members out there. Very little posting going on. Lots of lookers, but not too many respondents. This seems to be the case in every room at The Guide.

As for the lurkers-- c'mon in and join the fun. I promise the members will get more active if you join up.

Man, that is sick, no football! I watched one game that seemed like it lasted for evvvvver. Oh, come to think of it, it did. 6 overtimes!

George, I know, it has been quite. Thanks for trying to stir things up. Been on a priority project at work, and priority stuff at home too, so not been much time for me.

        No problemo, Lex.

Just don't like to see things too quiet. What will attract new members is lot of interesting posts under ALL categories.

I know I fall guilty to reading the board more than I post. I'll have to work on that!

What's happening to cd pricing ?
              by George Bellefontaine
I was looking at buying a few new cds over the weekend and prices seem to be all over the board ( in Canada, anyway). An example, a new Jimmy Buffet release I wanted was $26.95, yet many other of the pop new releases were only $18.95. I bought the Frank Sinatra Classic Duets cd from the ew Release section...

Free Football Remote Control at Radio Shack
              by Chris D
Lookie at what I found the other day when perusing through Radio Shack:

Listed at $9.99. So I thought, "what the heck... neat little gadget for the rec room", and brought it to the register. The girl there told me "Oh, we're giving that away for free if...

Getting ready to join - Some 1055 questions.
              by squigly1
Hi all. I'm almost ready to join the club but I have some questions concerning the 1055. Please bear with me as some of these may have been answered in other threads, though I could not seem to find them.

              1. Can the 1055 be found in black rather than silver?
              2. What is the component...

Don't take five, "Take 6": join the band
              by John Holmes

This is a fantastic group. What they can do acapella, is nothing short of flooring! Though with this cd (join the band) the instruments help show, just how versital this group really are.

Known more as a gospel group, Take 6 has shown that lables are not for them....

Can I use short pipes to join two sealed subs into one?
              by cdwitmer
I want to use two sealed subs side by side in a push-pull alignment to reduce distortion. To do that properly, I need to get the volume of the two subs the same, which is a bit of a pain since I don't have any good way of accurately measuring the displacement of the driver. Of course, if the two drivers...
