What's your favorite HT munch ?

Frankly, I'm a peanut nut. I'll start with a handful and end up eating a whole bag, along with a tall mug of root beer. On a Saturday night I switch from root beer to something a little stronger. For peanuts, it's Planters.

It varies, but my personal favorite is chocolate covered almonds. Sometimes we'll change up and go with homemade chocolate chip cookies, or go more meal-style with fajita nachos or seven-layer dip and chips - all with a huge Diet Coke (gotta watch those calories). :

I'm pretty much a chip person. Though I've been cutting back. So Ketchup, BBQ, Cheddar, Dill Pickle, Salt and Vinigar, All Dressed, pretty much all the Lay's flavours.

      I don't like plain chips.

I also like to snack on some chocolate. Right now I'm on those Hershey Bites. I like the Reese Peanut Butter bites, and the Skor bites.

Well, I like Filet Mineon Jerky myself. It's a bit expensive at 79.99 a pound. But hey, it's only money right?

          Gotcha.

Basically, I eat whatever is here, remember, variety is the spice of life.

For my crowd I like to change things from week to week. I always like to put out some grapes, party nibbles, nachos with medium salsa, peanuts and then some Italian and French pastries. Sometimes we'd go for pizza or popcorn depending on how hungry we/they are. It's always a big deal at my place although my HT is not all that compared to most of others here but it gets the job done, and having great food is the best thing!

If you have guests coming over there are some simple creations that you can DIY.

Here are some other suggestions: -

Vegetables and dip (Ranch or Blue cheese)
Fruit cubes ( Melons, pinapples etc)
Grapes and cheese (Place crackers separately)
Meatballs tossed in plum sauce (Add pineapple chunks)
Garlic bread and cheese (You can place any type of deli meat on there too)!
Shrimps with cocktail sauce ( Don't forget a waste dish for the tails)
              Oysters! ( I won't even comment here) 8)
Make Pizza on pita bread (Instead of tomato sauce use a garlic spread bake first then add tomatoes, pepperoni and cheese place back in the oven.
Bagel bits with a selection of cream cheeses or add smoked Salmon

Being a chef it is a pleasure for me to entertain, but when I'm alone it's tea and crackers!

Clive, you've just got to publish some recipes here! If nothing else, then at least the meatballs in plum sauce. That sounds awesome!
