    Mounting LCD TV

I am just now getting to wall mounting an LCD television in the bedroom. Does anyone have a recommended distance above the bed height to place the TV. The wall to foot of the bed measurement is 5.5 ft.

have the bottom of the tv about 18 inches above the bed, you dont want it too high where you'd have look up too far and get a crick in your neck, but not too low, so your feet wont block the picture.

If you have the cardboard from the box, measure out the size of the TV on the box (along with or only) the viewing size of the TV. Take the piece of cardboard and have your wife or someone else hold it at different heights until you find out how high you like it.

Makes it nice and easy and gives you a good sense of exactly what's perfect for you.

I have laid out the size of the TV on the wall with some tape. Wish I had cardboard handy in that size, but you go with what you got. Got in bed to test it out before mounting......whooa, that didn't come out right!

speaker heights on the B&W floorstanders
            by BlazeMaster
Hi, I've noticed the tweeter heights on the 600s floorstanders are around 36 inches high at the most, which will be the optimum heights for me in my seating position. The 700s and 800s are all around 40inches and over which will make it a little higher for me. Is that going to be a problem for me...

I have been trying to decide between the htm1 and the htm2...

The main issue is that I would need to spend a ton on a new tv stand (45" widescreen lcd) or buy a new TV and mount it on the wall in order to get the htm1 to fit comfortable on a stand with any other gear.

            Good, cheap, Wall-mounting MTM?
            by NoDestiny
Got my mom a 40" LCD for Xmas. After hooking it up and giving it a quick calibration, the sound came out and was far from amazing. Needs something much, much better than stock TV speakers.

Problem is, the TV is to be wall-mounted on a mantle and only really gives the options for...

            Seeking 37"-40" LCD/Plasma Screens

            Well,
Originally I was looking to invest in a 32" LCD.
Now I realize that with the space I have available onto the
the wall where the 32" screen was going to be mounted,
I have room for a little bigger.
So, now I am seeking to invest into a 37" LCD...
