Guys, how special can a day be? Well, today really stole the show for me. Please see a brief photo journal of "Portrait, the making".

I can honestly say, if there's never another person in my life, I am content. How lucky can one man be to have a daughter as beautiful inside as she is outside. Today, thanks to my Mother, her image is frozen in time to when she is 16. The whole world awaits her. What will she do, what will she be? Well, I cannot wait to find out. Ok, maybe I can wait.

Mr. John Todd Waterman did the portrait with nothing but a box of broken chalk. Wow! 30 years experience. I have to say he captured my daughter's looks, personality, and maybe just a bit of the woman she is growing into. Simply beautiful. I will cherish this always.

Happy Father's Day you Dad's out there. My daughter gets to come over for Pizza over at my Sister's house tomorrow. A bonus, since she isn't with me this weekend. Already said how special today was, getting to see her pose.

Congratulations to Lex and all the other father's out there!

I'm in the middle of a trip which started last week, so I won't be celebrating Fathers day with my soon to be 17 year old daughter until next Sunday.

Lex, that's a lovely painting, and I think I have an idea of how much that means to you- a friend of mine did a portrait of my daughter for me when she was about 8-9, and it's certainly something I'll always treasure.
