I remember one day when visting home from college that I heard a really high picthed frequency in my parents house that was driving me nuts. After checking around the house it was my dad's new cell phone charger - when plugged in but without the phone attached, it would emit a piercing high pitched sound. Neither my parents nor my brother could hear it, but it was awful to me. Since then, everytime I visit my parents, it is one of the first things I notice when I walk in the door - if I hear it, I hunt out that damn charger and unplug it right away.- Bottom

In The Netherlands they use street organs (small portable versions of the big ones) to chage loitering teens away. Have to say they play pretty obnocious 'music'. They normaly go around asking people for money while they do there rounds, I think most people just pay them to be sure they leave quickly!- Bottom
