A friend of mine wants me to try and sell these speakers for him. They are in near mint condition. What would be a fair asking price for these speakers. I see the C-5 is currently selling on ebay in the $150-200 range but the KLF-20 has not been on auction lately. They were $1500 retail when he purchased back in '97. If someone can offer a ballpark number I'd appreciate it.

Tom, just a WAG here (wild as*ed guess) but I'd go around $500, maybe $600.
Also, have you looked at prices on AudioGon? It's a dedicated auction/sales site for used audio and video equipment..

Hi David. Yes I did take a look at AudioGon yesturday. There was one pair and I think the asking price was ~$1000. I thought that was a little too high. I was also thinking around $5-600 was fair but wanted to make sure. Thanks for your reply!TomComment
