I've heard alot of good stuff about Outlaw. I currently have a yammy rxv3300 that I'm only using as a pre-amp with a rotel 1095. 50/50 music and ht. I have been considering selling the 3300 and buying the Outlaw 950. Should I expect a big difference in sound quality? I know I'll lose some features (which I don't use anyway) I'm just looking for better sound.
yamaha or outlaw?

by rav934Spent considerable time this weekend comparing the Rotel 1080 and Outlaw Mono block 2200 amps driven by the RX-V2500 pre-amp with B&W 804s speakers.
Listened to jazz, rock, big band, classical.
My impressions:
RX-V2500 direct to 804s...decent bass but...-

by Andrew PrattI recently took advantage of a great deal on a sony TA-E9000ES pre amp. Previous to owning the Sony I've tried a Sony DB930 receiver, HK receiver (sorry forget model #), Rotel 965 pre amp, Denon 2800 and finally Denon 3300. I only got the TA-E9000ES a couple of days before I left for the in-laws for...-

by azsynoWant to utilize my Harmony 880 remote to turn on the Rotel Amp when turning on/off all functions. Problem is that my Yammy Rx-V1400 doesn't have the 12v trigger function. Can I purchase a device that will alleviate this issue? don't really want to add a Rotel (or other) reciever just to get this function...... -
by elite1Hi all, I've had this reciever for a few months, and I noticed from the beginning that the 2 ac switched outlets on back didn't work. It wasn't a big deal at the time, but now it is. I've read thru the owners manual and the recievers menu, thinking that maybe I have to turn the outlets on. I've been...-
