Nice lookin' setup Steve! :T Very clean and organized. Did you build the cabinet?

Does your son (Bam Bam?) realize just how fortunate he is to have a dad that put all the components on a level that lets him access them? :

      hey Dave...

Thanks a lot bud...Bam Bam knows not to touch this stuff believe it or not...however upstairs he does open the cupboard door and turns on the stereo! (pretty cool 8) 8) 8) )!!!!

For the cabinet..I built it with a guy from Home depot...now we are really good buddies!!!

I`ll try to take side shots so you can see how I access the rear...

Thanks again bud and take care!

Nice widescreen pic of your set up Bam.

Did you tell Bam Bam that he was on the world wide web now?

Seems like you'd wanna pull those mains out of those holes on each side.

        How does it sound?

          hey there Sonnie

...and on with the TTP jokes..I`m workin on
getting that program you guys told me about...just
haven`t gotten around to it ops: ...Anyway
for the speaker placement...this is the spot
for them...my buddied and I spent weeks
trying to figure where to put them and believe
it or not it was there. My room reacts strangely.
If you look at Gallery I took pic`s of the back
of my room and you will see that it is open...sound
          just disappears.

On 2 channel when I play it retarded loud
(Patty Barber or Moby or even
          FRankie goes to Hollywood
          (digital recording!I might add)
it gets muddy and the bass
gets boomy....but like I said retarded loud.
It is sort of a compromise for now...

          Thanks Sonnie!

Nice setup, however part of your problem with the room may be the large amount of reflective surface up front. that surface is large. You may think about softening it up somehow. A couple of well placed cloth wall hangings maybe? Vertical carpet design over part of it? Ideas.

                Hi Lex.

My room is 15` by 26` and the back part has an opening in the ceiling of 4`.
I have pretty big windows on one side and a fireplace on the other. It is kinda tricky making the room acoustically treated and still look like a living room and sound room at the same time.
All the room treatments I have seen are butt ugly...

                Thanks for the comments Lex!
