I received this email this morning about an apparent smear campaign against Newform Research on several online web sites...
This email is to brief you on a series of exceptional events which have
occurred over the past 18 months.
Newform Research has been the target of an extensive, very well thought
out smear campaign on the most important audio sites on the web. Many
of our customers have pointed this out. The intent has been to damage
Newform=92s reputation and business.
However, the campaign has been exposed and we have obtained a (limited)
confession from the main perpetrator.
Newform has been silent on the issue for the past 12 months because of
the
various legal and investigative steps that had to be taken to identify
the main perpetrator. While he has been identified, the motivation
remains a mystery.

Now the issue is public, we at Newform can begin to re-establish our
reputation and profile. We will also be coming forward with new
