I have had Circle Surround for a few years now and you wouldn't want to use it instead of DD or DTS. However, it is an interesting alternative to Matrix sound on mono, stereo, or DPL. With my particular pre-pro I prefer Matrix and have it as the default sound for Direct TV.

I didn't mean to replace DD or DTS but rather to enhance it. H/K and Lexicon processors can apply Logic 7 over DD & DTS soundtracks. Likewise, the Cirrus Surround processing in the Outlaw 950 can be used in the same way.

I was just wondering if Circle Surround can do the same thing.

Sili,

This amp is going into the family room of our new home which we move into May!.

The Denon will be set-up downstairs in the Theater Room.

Once I have it installed I will compare the results.
The marantz also has DTS NEOand DPL2..I assumed the Circle Surround is a similar format.
Currently I use DTS Neo for my DSS and am very pleased with it.
